FOR INVESTORS; Where investors have a vested interest in understanding how financial planning advisers are trained, and practice, the college will provide the text material for all of these courses for a lesser fee and without assessments. They may, however take part in the "streaming tutorials” where information and processes are explained. The college understands that untrained investors are at a disadvantage and for a small "one off” outlay, they can speak with advisers on their own terms. The courses cover products, services, regulations and licensee obligations.

Profession people who are degree qualified may complete the ASIC Tier 1 programme and seek an "authorization” from an AFSL group, eg; banks, fund managers, companies and dealer groups.

The college has access to an AFSL and MAY offer an "authorization” to selected, successful candidates.
Ask the principal.

With the government’s current range of initiatives including, fee for service, abolition of some commissions, "opt in” provisions and more, there are opportunities for new advisers to start on even terms. The college has no view on these issues as they should be addressed as advisers and license holders believe their business model provides the expected result.

In terms of education, the college fully supports better training. The college principal has 25 years experience as an adviser, his own AFSL and more ten years experience in training many hundreds of advisers.
